ASKAWAY
Here are some of my most frequently asked questions. If you don’t see what you’re looking for here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Do you charge a fee for planning?

There is never a fee for booking with Disney Dream Trips! I might even be able to save you some money if there are promotional deals offered by Disney. You will get my Disney expertise, helpful tips, and a personalized trip plan, at no cost to you.

If you are free, who pays you?

I receive a small compensation from Disney directly for each booking. Think of it like a marketing expense for them. If you book on your own, the cost remains the same, but Disney just keeps that money, and you miss out on the personal trip planning I can provide!

Why shouldn't I just book myself?

Of course you can book it yourself, but why would you? Disney vacations require extensive research and planning to navigate their many parks, attractions, and restaurants in the few days you are there. Let me help with all the details of your transportation, dining reservations, fastpasses, trip insurance, and package add-ons. I’ll provide personalized assistance, at no extra cost.

How far in advance should I plan my Disney vacation?
Typically, for Disney World and Disneyland, I suggest 6-8 months before your travel date to ensure you have time to select your dining reservations (made 180 days before check-in). For Disney Cruise Line, it’s best to book about a year in advance as certain room types do sell out quickly. But of course, I can help even the most spontaneous vacationers plan for a trip!
Can you help if I've already booked?
You bet I can! If you have booked directly with Disney in the past 30 days and have not paid in full, I can take over your reservation and help you with my free planning service. It can be overwhelming to plan a Disney vacation. Let me do the work for you!
What does being a Certified Disney Planner mean?
There are many, many travel agents out there who can (and do) book Disney trips. However, not all of them are Certified Disney Planners. In order to be in this elite group, one must be a certified travel agent who has also completed the Disney College of Knowledge. This course provides many details and education about the specifics of Disney properties and vacation options so we can provide the best service for our clients.
What sets Disney Dream Trips apart?

I offer knowledge and insight about Disney resorts, theme parks, restaurants, attractions and the Disney Cruise Line. I believe that all Disney destination guests deserve a customized vacation that will meet the unique needs of everyone in the travel party. I am an expert in planning vacations and I plan your Disney trip as if it were my own. I strive to be an extension of the world-class Disney customer service.

Do you book non-Disney trips too?
I try to focus primarily on Disney, since that is my area of expertise. However, I am able to book other experiences for you too! For example, if you want to spend a few days at Disney World, and then the rest of your week at Universal Studios, I can definitely help you with BOTH aspects of your trip! If you’re looking for something totally different, I suggest using one of the other travel advisors at markstravelandtourism.com or call (716) 827-2783.
